Taking into account the training capacity of the INC, one of its goals is to provide training courses in subjects related to technology in materials science and nanoscience which are not fully reflected in the Official Postgraduate Masters of the University. These specialized courses are directed not only to graduate students, but also the Laboratory staff. Taking advantage of the initiative of the UAM for transferring knowledge to other society ambient through the Program “Cursos de Formación Continua”, the Institute Nicolás Cabrera has decided to create an specialized training course in Vacuum Technologies directed to young scientists as well as laboratory technicians working in this area. Due to the lack of learning in this field we hope to fill this space by offering not only this training course but also “In company” courses adapted to demand.
