Since 1994 the INC Institute has been organizing a Summer School organized by its researchers and dealing with the hottest topics in Materials Science. This Summer School is devoted to postgraduate and PhD students. The International Summer School “Nicolás Cabrera” has brought the best experts in the corresponding subject and currently is internationally recognized due to its high quality and scientific level.

Since 2002, the International Summer School “Nicolás Cabrera” is being funded by the BBVA Foundation, thus allowing that most of the professors of the Summer School are international leaders in each subject. The desirable presence of the best Spanish experts is also assured.

The quiet and comfortable environment of “La Cristalera” Residence, located in the Madrilenian village of Miraflores de la Sierra, provides an excellent scenario to enjoy science.
